North GTA Medical offers a broad range of medical services. For those requiring urgent care, we have a walk-in clinic with short wait times to serve you. We provide allergy shot administration and immunizations on a drop-in basis. We also offer family medicine as a part of our services.
For your convenience, we are located immediately next door to the newly renovated North GTA Rehab and Pharmasave.

Dr. Lindsay McColl
Walk-In Doctor
Dr. Lindsay McColl completed medical school at the University of Toronto and family medicine residency at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. After 6 years in Sudbury, Ontario working as a full scope family physician, she relocated to the Greater Toronto Area in 2022 with her family. She currently works as a family doctor with special interests in women’s health, sexual health and lactation medicine.
Outside of medicine, her favourite place to be is at the cottage spending time with her husband and two kids. She loves baking and yoga.

Dr. Linda Wong
Walk-In Doctor
Dr. Linda Wong received her medical degree from the University of Toronto. She became a Certificate of the College of Family Physicians through the University of Toronto and went on to complete a fellowship in low risk obstetrics there as well. She provided general family medicine and antenatal care for many years in Etobicoke prior to moving to Newmarket. She now provides walk in/urgent care services at North GTA Health.

At North GTA Medical , you can be assured that we have experienced physicians who are equipped to manage a wide range of medical needs that require prompt assessment such as UTIs, respiratory infections, and ear infections. If you have a medical issue that falls outside of our range of services, when required, we will provide specialist referrals.

Our walk-in clinic provides access to allied health care (North GTA Rehab) and pharmacy services (Pharmasave) to provide you with the additional support that you need.

North GTA Medical is a family medicine practice committed to serving the health needs of Newmarket families. We value our patients and provide medical care for all stages of life. Our patients and their families are our top priority. Our physicians are able to provide ongoing, quality care for the whole family at every stage of life. Our family physicians provide one-on-one, comprehensive care for patients and their families with a focus on prevention, coordination of care and management of chronic disease. We offer a welcoming, safe space for patients and their families to get high-quality medical care.
As your main point of medical care, your family physician will provide care for you and your family throughout your lives. Each life stage demands different medical care, and we offer a variety of medical services for patients and their families. Here is a sampling of the services we can provide:

IMMUNIZATION & VACCINATIONS
North GTA Medical provides most immunizations including infant and child immunizations and flu shots. We also have immunizations for adults. If you require allergy shots, we have qualified staff available to administer these.
UNINSURED MEDICAL CARE
Not all medical services are covered by OHIP and this means patients must pay for some services. This is a standard practice across Ontario. For example, sometimes doctor’s notes are required for school, camps, legal reasons, and sometimes for employment. There is a $20.00 fee for this type of note.
While OHIP does cover a wide range of medical services, there are many services that simply are not covered and that you will have to pay for on your own. At North GTA Medical, we offer many of these non-insured services so that you can get the treatment you need, when you need it.

At North GTA Medical , we are happy to offer the convenience of providing you with medical services not covered by OHIP. We provide the following services to our patients:
Minor Medical Visit without a valid health card is $50.00.
A 30 minute medical visit without a valid health card is $75.00.
Ear Syringing (One Ear is Covered) is $26.00.
Wart treatment (other than plantar warts- OHIP covered) is $15.00 per treatment area.
Mole Removal-After Assessment is $60.00
Skin Tag Removal is $10.00
If you require a back to work note or a sick note the fee is $20.00
Application for Sick Benefits is $10.00
University/College Admission is $28.50
School/Camps Note is $28.50
TB Step 1 Injection and Read is $40.00
TB Step 2 Injection and Read is $40.00
If you require an employment physical form, this will cost $38.25.
Functional abilities form is $45.00.
